  • George completely judging me for putting b in this costume because he knows Dad won’t be happy when he gets home from the turkey bowl and sees this. George—you should be happy that @jsheldonsherman couldn’t find one of these costumes in your size at @tjmaxx 🦃🦃🦃 happy thanksgiving, everyone! 🍽🙏🏼
  • 🌭 ➕ 🍟➕❤️➕💛= my kind of meal, I mean Halloween costume {are you shocked it was a food theme?!) not happy that I had to be in the absolute worst color on me...yellow mustard. Nick hates mustard so he insisted on being ketchup 🤬And, well, it was a small victory that he allowed all of us to dress up together 🤷🏻‍♀️ ! I quickly switched out of it into ketchup though 😊

  • George’s Halloween costume came in today and I’m going to *try* to DIY b’s costume (which will inevitably end up with me making multiple trips to hobby lobby with the end result looking very sketchy, I’m sure). Looking back on b’s costumes over the years I would definitely say he loves to dress up 🤔😏😱The second I get his costume bin out (yes, I have a whole bin 🤦🏻‍♀️), his ears go back, he gets super awkward, and tries to back away as quickly as possible. Poor guy! He has no idea what’s coming this year 😂😂😂
  • Before (while) I jet off to explore another city, I’ve got to post about my dreamy New York weekend a few weeks ago. My Kansas girl, @lokimball doing big things in the city and taking me to every food and drink place imaginable made my little piggy heart so happy! She also made me bike the entire city, which nearly killed me (and my a**), but I’ve since forgiven her. Keep a warm spot on your couch for me, hunny, because Mr. B and I will be visiting soon (he has asked that I not travel without him anymore, especially when visiting his auntie Lauren, so apparently I need to find dog friendly hotels/apartments) 😘😘😘😘
  • How did this happen that the majority of my blog posts are sweet recipes?! ...too much sweet. I’m such a salty girl (in my food tastes and personality 😂). On the blog today I’ve got my go-to quiche recipe posted! I probably make this recipe (or a variation of it) once a month...it’s so good! Make it for breakfast, make it for house guests, or eat it for lunch/dinner with a salad like I’ve been doing all week! Enjoy!
  • I FINALLY posted this cake batter cookie recipe on the blog (link in profile)! I would say 95% of the people who eat these ask for the recipe to make for themselves. Also, I can make and cook these in less than 15 minutes! And lastly, before my sister kills me over Instagram, this recipe technically is hers but since she, like my mom, refuse to cook or bake, we will just say it’s mine now 😛 #missbeats
