Classic Spin Dip

Who doesn’t love spin dip? Inevitably at every family function or dinner out, spin dip is made or ordered. So much so, that nick has said that my family has “overdone” spin dip (he’s so dramatic, ugh!). It’s always a crowd-pleaser, re-heats well, and is honestly gets better with time (and, I don’t say that much…I hate leftovers!). This recipe is a mix of my sister’s recipe and one of my fave food bloggers, Gimme Some Oven. But sorry, ladies, I think this one is the best!

Classic Spin Dip

Ingredients –

1 bag of fresh spinach (6 oz.)

1 can chopped artichokes

1 package cream cheese, softened

1 cup sour cream

1/2 cup mayo

1 cup mozzarella

½ cup parm

6 garlic cloves, chopped

½ tsp pepper

¼ tsp salt

Directions –

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Throw all ingredients in a large bowl together and mix will with a wooden spoon (you could also do this in a mixer with a paddle attachment).
  3. Pour mixture into a pan (I use an 8×8) and pop into oven and cook for 25-35 minutes.
  4. Serve with tortilla chips and enjoy!
