I’m really all about doing all of the fall activities I can before it gets freezing and I don’t want to leave my house. A coworker told me about a quaint little place called Cider Hill. They have a pumpkin patch and apple orchard amongst all of the other precious things like this wishing well. How cute!
I should add that Nick and I were the only adults without children at this place….and Nick would like to add, the only person wearing a romper, huge floppy hat, and flip flops. As I always say, you gotta wear what you want and own it. I still climbed in all of the trees to get the best apples as evidenced by the picture below.
The weather the day we went was perfect. It was one of those fall days you want to drive with the windows down and listen to the Father of the Bride soundtrack. Okay, maybe it’s just me that listens to that soundtrack. 🙂

Just realized I look like I’m trying to be on the RHONY promo with the apple in hand. :0So I’m not going to lie, after seeing the outside of these apples, I was a little concerned how good/fresh they would be but they were delicious! They were the perfect apples for apple crisp.
I used the recipe that I talked about in my Fall to do list – Double Crumb Apple Crisp. I’ve already made this recipe again. It was that good! Here is the first layer of crumb and unfortunately the last picture I took #fail. But trust me on this one, this is a tasty recipe. It’s also fairly easy (minus the cutting of like a hundred apples).
Thanks for reading! Happy Fall, loves!
