My good friend, Hope (who happens to be getting married to Nick’s best friend), had her bachelorette party this weekend in Galveston, TX. It is definitely wedding season for my friends and I’m so not ready for it….aka this old lady can’t be going out that much.
I couldn’t help but snap this cliché airplane window picture. Kansas looks so bright and green!
First stop in Galveston was lunch, of course. We ate by the water and I got an amazing margarita pizza and dr. pepper. Side note: we flew into Houston on Thursday and went out there that night. We stayed up until 4:30am (wayyyy past my bedtime) so the DP was necessary.
We quickly decorated the hotel room in time for a fun neon themed night out.
Most of the girls took the neon theme very seriously and wore leggings, bright tennis shoes, and leg warmers. They all looked so cute! I, on the other hand, wore a leather skirt and hot pink and gold flip flops, because well, I’m a diva.
This was my first time wearing flash tattoos. They’re so fun….until you get to work on Monday and realize you still have them on. 🙂
It was such a fun night out – dancing, drinking, karaoke-ing, and two stepping.
On Saturday morning, a few of Hope’s friends put together a brunch at a cute little spot called, Farley Girls. I got a salad with fried goat cheese balls on top (hello, Stassi from Vanderpump rules). It was so good that I forgot to even take a picture!

The rest of the day was designated to the pool. The hotel we stayed at had a huge pool and swim up bar. Needles to say, we didn’t leave the pool until 8pm.

Most of the girls went out on Saturday night (#yougoglencoco) but this girl was not going to make it. I ended up staying in with a few others and we ate, packed, and watched The Ugly Truth. Now that’s my kind of night!
I’ve been going to bed at 10 o’clock every night since I’ve been back in hopes of regaining my strength and voice…we’ll see how long this takes!
